Sledmere House is a majestic English estate with Capability Brown’ famed gardens, celebrated on BBC Gardeners’ World. Unearth the enchanting world of Harlow Carr, an RHS sanctuary, where the legacy of royal hunting grounds transforms into a spectacle of alpine elegance and sustainable gardening wonders.
We will have a guided tour of the nearby Fairfax House, a hidden gen in the heart of York. Fairfax house is a masterpiece of Georgian design and architecture and we have a guided tour of the highly decorated interiors and magnificent stucco ceilings.
Finally, we hop aboard the 150-year-old ‘The Railway Children’s’ train for a whimsical ride from Keighley to Oxenhope, traversing the stunning Brontë country. Plus, much more and on one evening our hotel provides a Yorkshire evening with themed pre dinner drink, meal, and quiz.
