First Day A lunchtime stop in Abergavenny, and a lovely drive through the Brecon Beacons to Tenby.

Tours whilst at resort
A |   A grand circular tour of Pembrokeshire today starts as we travel along the coast road known for its ‘Seventeen Hills in Sixteen Miles’ through Newgale Pebble Beach and the quaint little village of Solva to St. Davids, where ample time is allowed for lunch and to view the cathedral, the largest in Wales. We continue along the Irish Sea Coast to Fishguard and then return to Tenby to complete a wonderful day.

B |   We travel to Carmarthen for a lunchtime stop, where there is good shopping (and if on Wednesday, its market day.) Then on to Laugharne for a short stop in this attractive village. Our return to Tenby takes in Pendine Sands and the narrow coast road past Amroth Castle. Here the last twenty-five years has seen all the houses on the sea-ward side washed away.

C |
Another circular tour of Pembrokeshire as we take a beautiful morning drive along the coast through Lydstep to St Govans Head where we make a stop with great views of a tiny chapel built into the cliff. We continue through Merrion, then pass the impressive, mediaeval fortress of Pembroke Castle on our way to Haverfordwest for a lunch time stop. Haverfordwest is the attractive county town of Pembrokeshire with a great variety of shops. The Wester Cleddau River runs through the centre and has a castle towering above it. In the afternoon we visit Saundersfoot, a fishing village at the foot of a picturesque, wooded valley.
