Chester is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and as soon as you arrive you will appreciate the city’s unique atmosphere and sense of history.
This 4 star hotel offers the quintessential location for a fabulous, yet traditional Christmas! Charles Dickens was a regular guest at this hotel and you will marvel at the vaulted ceilings, spectacular staircases and regal public areas of this stately building. This hotel is now a firm favourite for Christmas and sells out every year.
Monday We journey north with a lunchtime stop in the town of Shrewsbury. From here we continue to our hotel in Chester where we are met with Mulled Wine and cake.
Christmas Eve A scenic tour of Snowdonia with a suitable lunch time stop. In the evening after a 4 course dinner, we enjoy a local choir and other live singers!
Christmas Day Food and entertainment in the hotel, kicked off by a Treasure Hunt for those who wish to join in!
Boxing Day After breakfast maybe burn off some calories walking the Chester Walls. It is the only city in the UK to have a complete set. Alternatively, take advantage of the Boxing Day Sales! Return to the hotel for a buffet and then in the afternoon we head to a nearby theatre for Panto! In the evening all the stops are pulled out with a farewell gala dinner with food and entertainment galore!
Friday A relaxed start to the day and after checking out we have more time to explore the fascinating city of Chester before we depart for home at 1430.
