Monday To Southampton for the scenic cruise across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. We make a stop in the quintessential English village of Godshill before checking into our hotel.

Tours whilst at resort

We visit the seaside resorts of Ryde and Sandown. Ryde is the largest town on the Island and in addition to an expanse of sandy beaches, which stretch right along the town, it has a great selection of boutique shops, museums and galleries. Sandown shelters in a beautiful bay and is famed for its golden sandy beach and the traditional British seafront and pier.

We view the magnificent coastal scenery along the south of the island as we travel to Alum Bay overlooking the Needles. Later we call in at Yarmouth with its continental atmosphere and picturesque harbour.

Friday Before we catch our ferry choose between free time in West Cowes, beautifully set on the estuary with its busy harbour and narrow streets, or Newport, the island’s attractive capital at the head of the river.
