For only two months of the year, the 19 State Rooms used by the Queen and her family are open to the public. Take this opportunity to visit these lavishly furnished rooms with some of the finest treasures from the Royal Collection. Also on this visit will be thechance to visit the Palace's garden.
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria's birth, a special exhibition, Queen Victoria's Palace, will tell the story of how the young queen transformed Buckingham Palace from a private house into a working royal residence. Together with Prince Albert, she made Buckingham Palace a rallying point for the nation, a powerful symbol of the British Monarchy, and a family home for their nine children.
We are in Buckingham Palace from 1200 – 1500 and aim to drop you off beforehand at around 1100. Afterwards we will make our way to Royal Windsor where there will be some free time.
