Plymouth is perfectly situated for Devon and Cornwall, plus the hotel is a short walk from the Barbican and iconic Mayflower Steps. This holiday was a huge success in 2017 but we were unable to get an allocation in 2018, so book quickly as it will sell out!
Monday To Dawlish for a short lunchtime stop and then on to Plymouth where we are met with tea, coffee, cake and Christmas biscuits on our arrival.
Christmas Eve Over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall and we visit the historic fishing port of Looe, where two rivers create a tidal harbour. The bustling harbour is the hub of the town and home to fishing vessels as well as pleasure craft. We return to the hotel for a buffet lunch.
Christmas Dinner Enjoy a morning at leisure or maybe take a stroll along the Hoe to work up an appetite. There will be board games available all day and in the evening entertainment plus a buffet style dinner.
Boxing Day We enjoy a morning visit to the captivating town of Totnes at the head of one of Britain’s most picturesque rivers, The Dart. Then back to the hotel for lunch and why not visit the sales in Drakes Circus in the afternoon or visit the Barbican area.
Friday We return home with a lunchtime stop in the historic city of Exeter.
