With its world class attractions and unrivalled musical heritage, Liverpool is the ideal destination to visit and explore.
We concentrate on some of that musical heritage with a visit to the world’s only Beatle-inspired hotel and we also visit the Terracotta Warriors at the Liverpool World Museum.
Our hotel’s great location helps us get the most from this city break.
Sunday To Liverpool and time to explore the Albert Dock area before we check into our great hotel which is located centrally.
Monday More free time to explore Liverpool. For any hardened Beatles’ fans, why not visit the Beatles Story Museum (entry not included). This award-winning museum follows the Fab Four’s careers up close and personal from the early years to their break up and solo careers with a host of photographs and artefacts on offer. Later we enjoy Mini Afternoon Tea at the Hard Day’s Night Hotel. This chic ‘fab’ 4 star hotel was inspired by Liverpool’s very own Beatles. Tea includes finger sandwiches, tea/coffee and scones.
Tuesday Glimpse the extraordinary story of the First Emperor of China as the Liverpool World Museum displays the story of the tomb’s Terracotta Warriors stemming from his vast burial site and tomb complex discovered in 1974. This exhibition will be unprecedented in the UK and includes a number of objects that have never been on show in this country before. The warriors were last in the UK in 2007 for what was the British Museum’s second most successful exhibition ever after the Tutankhamun fever of 1972.
