First day Travelling via Bridgnorth we take a lunchbreak in Llangollen, before travelling via the scenic Horseshoe Pass to our hotel.
Tours whilst at resort
A To Bodnant Gardens, spread over 80 acres on the western slopes of Snowdonia, with interesting and beautiful plants from all over the world. We also enjoy an hour long Welsh Food History tour. Later we head towards the coast and the Conwy Brewery where we have a guided tour before some well earned sampling!
B Two train rides today as we climb up towards Snowdonia and stop in Llanberis. Our ﬁrst train takes us up to the summit of Snowdon. On its route it crosses two viaducts and then has wonderful views of the surrounding area. Later we enjoy a narrow-gauge steam train along the shores of Lake Padarn, right in the heart of Snowdonia.
C Our ﬁrst stop is Portmeirion, a village created in 1976 with iconic architecture and surrounded by scenery and vast wooded gardens. Later, we round oﬀ the holiday with a ride on the Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Last day We return home with a stop in Chester, a classic city with over 2000 years of history and spectacular shopping.
