Day 1 To France on to our overnight stop at the 3 star superior Mercure Hotel in Saarbruecken, Germany.
Day 2 We continue through Germany and then south into Austria and our base for 5 nights, St Anton. We are met with a welcome drink.
Tours whilst at resort
A To nearby Jerzens where today is the traditional weekend where the cows return from the alpine pastures. The cows are decorated and are led through the streets in a great festive atmosphere.
B A scenic drive along the Inn Valley, with many hilltop castles to be seen, and then all day in Innsbruck. Innsbruck is over 800 years old and we have all day to explore this charming alpine city, including the most famous landmark of all, the ‘Golden Roof’. The city also hosted the winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976.
C Full day excursion over the Fern Pass and into Bavaria where we visit Garmisch Partenkirchen. Then on to Oberammergau with its colourfully painted houses. Our return is via Lechtal to complete a circular scenic tour.
D A free day to explore St Anton. There is plenty to do in the village and you can use your included St Anton card to ride the local cable car high into the Alps with stunning views of the surrounding Alps.
Day 7 We return via a diﬀerent route, along the banks of Lake Constance, to our overnight hotel which is the Novotel in St Avold in France.
Day 8 To Calais and home.
