Norfolk is a unique area of Britain with the Broads, open expanses of water often linked to rivers. Great Yarmouth is our base and is one of Britain’s premier resorts.
First Day We head into East Anglia and make a stop in Norwich, a City infused with a rich character all of its own.
Tours whilst at Resort
a Into the lovely Broads area and following a scenic drive we make a lunch time stop in the beautiful village of Wroxham. Later in the afternoon we enjoy a boat ride on a Mississippi paddle boat before returning by a different scenic route.
b A scenic coast drive with a lunch time stop in Sheringham, a lovely resort with diverse shops and places to eat. In the afternoon we visit the Thursford Collection, the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs plus fairground carousel and gondola.
c To Southwold, famous for its highly valued beach huts, and Lowestoft, an enthralling seaside town.
Last Day We return home with a stop in St Albans, a cathedral city with history dating back to Roman times.
